Requirements:

• Preferably not more than 45 years of age
• Graduate of Bachelors/College in Accountancy
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With at least 3 year(s) experience in doing different functions in Accounting
• With at least 1 to 2 years Supervisory experience in handling personnel
• With strong leadership capability
• With experience working in a fresh banana export corporation is a PLUS
• With experience in materials inventory control or personnel is a PLUS

Responsibilities:

This position is expected to generate income of the company by providing timely and accurate financial data to management for them to make timely decisions profitable to the business, by making proposals to reduce cost of operations, by strict implementation of materials inventory system, collection procedures of claims against growers, implementation of personnel procedures and training programs.

• FINANCE

• Preparations of needed accounting documents
• Disbursements based on procedures
• Cost Accounting
• Collection of Receivables

• MATERIALS INVENTORY - implements procedures on Inventory of Materials
• PERSONNEL - recommends and administers personnel policies, works with the business managers on needed training programs and recruits necessary personnel.

• ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Accountable for accurate accounting reports done on agreed timelines.
• Materials are all accounted for.
• Ensures that cost of operations are within target through timely monitoring of expenses, disbursements are properly justified and through recommendations to cut cost.
• Recommends policies to ensure discipline, motivate personnel and ensure said policies are implemented to all.
• Hiring of necessary personnel within agreed timelines.
