The following job vacancy is being advertised by HSBC Davao Branch. Please find below brief description of the job and the qualification sought.

POSITION:  Customer Service Assistant

                   Reporting to Retail Branch Head

The Job:

• The jobholder will be responsible for balancing of outward clearing cheques
• He/She will handle opening and closing of Safety Deposit Box for customers; prepares and monitors documents regarding SDB rentals
• He/She will process term deposit maturities on a daily basis
• He/She will attend to telephone and facsimile queries/requests regarding bank transactions, products, and services in an efficient manner.
• He/She will check and file inward clearing calling report a=on a daily basis
• He/She will act as relief Teller when the need arise; performs other duties that may be assigned when necessary
• He/She will cross sell bank products at every opportunity and assist clients in any of their inquires.
• He/She is also tasked to performed other back office functions and provide excellent customer service at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be detail conscious
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure
• Service-oriented and customer-focused experience preferred
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English
